Bayede! XO Royal Cape Brandy
This XO pour presents a deep amber‑mahogany hue. Its nose is arresting , rich in cloves, curry leaf, dried apricot, and cedar spice. The palate is smooth yet robust, delivering layers of fruitcake, honeyed fig, tobacco and Christmas spice. The finish is lingering and savoury with just a whisper of exotic fynbos. A bold, textured expression made for royalty, ideal for collectors and spirited connoisseurs who savour distinctly South African depth and character.
De Kaapse Brandewijn Kompanjie Cape XO Brandy
The bottle is etched in a cursive script with the year 1672 , when brandy was first made in Table Bay harbour. Crafted in honour of maritime heritage and Cape craftsmanship, this XO Cape Brandy is matured for a minimum of 10 years in both French and American oak. Limited to only 700 bottles, it glows with deep mahogany and copper tones. The nose is rich and layered with apricot preserve, roasted nuts, vanilla pod and a subtle whiff of old sherry. The palate is opulent yet balanced, unfolding with marmalade, dried fig, honeyed almond and soft rosemary and coriander. The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering warmth and a touch of cedar. Packaged in a bottle styled on vintage naval decanters, this brandy is a collector’s treasure, ideal for gifting or celebratory toasts.
