A bold reimagining of Cape brandy, this XO “Blanco” is created from separately vinified and distilled Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Ugni Blanc and Hanepoot grapes. Matured in French oak, then blended for balance, it pours pale gold. The nose is fruit-forward with ripe apricot, peach, and white blossom. On the palate, soft vanilla and toffee notes are lifted by crisp acidity and gentle oak. Light in texture but full of expression, it finishes with creamy pear, baked apple and a faint herbal freshness. This is a bright, modern XO.
