Boplaas 17 year old Potstill Reserve
Produced from handpicked Colombard grapes and double distilled in a venerable Santagans still, this 17-year-old Potstill brandy is matured in French oak barriques in the extreme Klein Karoo. Golden copper in colour, it opens with a heady bouquet of preserved apricot, crème caramel and rooibos tea. On the palate, there’s a luxurious interplay of dried fruit, toasted walnut, toffee and soft floral notes. A satin mouthfeel leads into a lengthy, warming finish edged with lemon thyme and wild honey. Polished and contemplative, it’s the perfect bottle to mark an occasion.
